Plot summary
In 2018 a U.S. mission lands on the Moon, with James Washington among the two astronauts aboard. On the far side they meet the descendants of Nazis who fled there in 1945, and Washington is taken captive. Doktor Richter examines him, takes his smartphone and finds it has more computing power than the base's 1940s-style computers. Richter alters Washington's skin with a drug, and Klaus Adler, who intends to marry Renate, the Doktor's daughter and a specialist on Earth, flies a saucer to Earth for more such machines, taking Washington with him. Renate stows away on board. Landing in New York City, they are put in touch with Vivian Wagner, an adviser to the President's re-election campaign, and supply the campaign with Nazi-style rhetoric.
