Plot summary
Nick Brenner believed he had put his violent past behind him. He works an honest job and lives with his wife, Tara, whose father, Frank Parson, is the sheriff of the town. Sloan, a man from the life Nick left, has not forgotten him or the money he took when he went. Sloan and his crew track Nick down, and they take Tara. Frank, Nick's father-in-law, is the sheriff, and he must weigh his duty against what has happened to his daughter. Nick has to decide whether to stay on the straight path he built or go after the men who took her.
