Plot summary
Jiang Yang cuts film for a living, piecing together other people's pictures, but what he wants is to direct. His assistant, Meng Xiao-yan, has dropped a song into the soundtrack of a movie that is about to premiere, and the song comes with no license. The trouble lands with Jiang Yang. Off the job, his girlfriend, Luo Qian-qian, is close to ending their relationship. His efforts to chase the directing work bring one challenge after another, and he and Luo Qian-qian are pulled into a string of adventures together.
