Plot summary
Jack Edwards is a gay artist from England who lives and works in New York City. He is deprived of his immigration status, and he risks losing his family and his life in the United States. To remain in the country and stay with his family, he marries Ali Federman, his lesbian best friend. His brother Peter has died, and Jack wants to stay to help Peter's widow, Mya Edwards. He meets Mano Alfaro and falls in love, and the unequal status of same-sex marriage is a problem he must face.
