Plot summary
Wayne Szalinski runs Szalinski Labs with his brother Gordon, and his wife Diane wants the Tiki Man sculpture in the house gone. She and Gordon's wife Patti leave on vacation, so Wayne and Gordon are left minding Adam, Jenny and Mitch. Wayne packs the kids off to the store and restarts his shrinking machine to reduce the Tiki Man in secret. A billiard ball drops onto the button and the ray catches Wayne and Gordon instead. Patti remembers that Mitch needs his medicine for a potassium deficiency, and she and Diane hurry back. They slip into the attic hoping to surprise the men, and the machine shrinks them as well. The kids return to an empty-looking house, assume they have the evening to themselves, and Jenny starts inviting friends over.
