Plot summary
Chloe Paige lives with her stepson Jacob in a mansion on an isolated peninsula, reachable from the mainland only by a swing bridge. Her wealthy husband is away, and she does not know where he is. One stormy evening, while Chloe shares wine with her friend Alice, a car pulls up carrying three strangers. Alice steps out to help them and is shot. Chloe shuts the door, calls the police and the security firm whose hidden cameras watch every room. The bridge has been damaged, so the police cannot cross, and the intruders force their way in.
