Plot summary
Claude Langmann, a middle-aged auctioneer, has been married to Marie Langmann, his second wife, for fifteen years. He is deeply in love with her and has stayed faithful, but he cannot perform in bed. Marie tells him she is satisfied with his love and tenderness. Claude visits a sex specialist anyway, and there he hears about Viagra, a drug not yet approved in France that is sold over the counter in Switzerland. Hoping to prove his manhood, he sets out for Geneva.
