Plot summary
Lola is a teenager in Paris who lives with her mother, Anne; her parents, Anne and Alain, are divorced. Her friends call her LOL, and she keeps a diary. She attends a high school in the city, and she has been going out with a classmate named Arthur. When the summer break ends, he tells her he was unfaithful while he was away and had been dating one of her friends. Lola ends things with him and starts seeing Maël, a close friend of Arthur's. Her friends enjoy making matters more complicated, and at home her mother holds her back.
