Plot summary
An American spy holds a high place in the Kremlin and must be spirited out of Russia. The CIA wants him brought safely to Antwerp, where he will board a freighter, and the task goes to Johnnie Allen, a young gay field operative posted to Denmark on his first mission. Johnnie meets Sander, a Danish lad who is apparently straight, and falls in love with him. Johnnie wants his friend near him, so he brings Sander along on the mission. Whether or not to confess his love to Sander is a question Johnnie faces, and the Russian agent he is sent to collect may not be all he seems.
