Plot summary
Francis Turner, an industrialist, has created a cyborg, Paco Queruak, who is 70 percent robot and 30 percent human. An ecological faction blocks the way of the dystopian country, so Turner programs Paco to terminate the faction's leader. The attempt on the leader fails. Paco flees to Arizona, where a woman who likes him runs a diner in the desert. The diner is frequented by arm wrestling enthusiasts, and the local arm wrestling champion is among those who come after the stranger. Turner's men and the government are hunting Paco as well, and the cyborg only wants to be left alone.
