Plot summary
Off the coast of Miami, Florida, a team of scientists works from an ocean platform to raise a sunken Russian nuclear submarine. The work on the sea floor brings up an ancient Atlantean relic, and an expert is called in to make sense of it. When the team tries to lift the submarine, radiation leaking from its missiles rouses Atlantis from the depths. A tidal wave destroys the platform, and only a small group of people survives.
