Plot summary
An airborne sickness reaches a hotel, and the hallway outside the guests' rooms is where it takes hold. Naomi, a pregnant runaway, is in one of those rooms when the virus arrives, and Val, who is trapped in a toxic marriage, is next door, searching for her young daughter Kelly. Other guests are stranded along the same corridor, and some of them are already helpless. The sickness is not confined to the hotel, and people outside it are ill as well. Both women want to leave the corridor, and the route out runs the length of the long, narrow hallway.

- Hall was shot over twelve days inside a working hotel and used mostly practical effects, because director Giannini wanted it to be an ode to the older horror films of the 1970s and '80s that inspired his love of cinema.
- Actress Yumiko Shaku, who played the protagonist Naomi, was called "an integral part in getting HALL made" by Giannini, who said that without her involvement the film "would not have the same impact."
- Hall marked the feature directorial debut of Giannini, who had previously directed short movies and worked as an actor and an extra.
