Plot summary
Jake Taylor comes to college as an embittered former high school football star and keeps to himself. His cousin Gil is also his roommate and is obsessed with Greek life. The brothers of the coolest fraternity on campus refuse to accept Gil unless Jake agrees to pledge with him, so Jake joins the house in order to protect Gil. He also begins an affair with Paige Forrester, a sophomore who hates fraternities. Pledge activities include naked scavenger hunts, keg parties, sorority ass-signings, all-night beer fests and sorority swapping, and Jake tries to keep his grades up and to keep seeing Paige.
