Plot summary
Lieutenant Akane Yashiro, a maser-cannon technician in the Anti-Megalosaurus Force, cannot kill a new Godzilla in her first battle with him at Tateyama. She is demoted. Scientists, among them the single father Tokumitsu Yuhara, construct a cyborg mecha using the skeleton of the first Godzilla. The finished machine carries the codename MFS-3 Kiryu, and Akane becomes the primary pilot of the Kiryu Squadron. A squadron mate, Second Lieutenant Susumu Hayama, resents her over a brother lost in the first fight.
