Plot summary
Ling Xiaoyu is a high school student and a martial artist. Anna Williams, who works for G Corporation, brings her in and sends her to a campus in Kyoto with instructions to find out about Shin Kamiya, a student there. The Mishima Zaibatsu is after the same answers, and its head, Jin Kazama, sends Alisa Bosconovitch to that school with a matching task. Xiaoyu and Alisa grow close, each keeping her employer hidden from the other. Anna has also planted a decoy to mislead Nina Williams, her sister, who is on Jin's side. When an unknown assailant seizes Shin, the friendship is put to the test.

Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Tekken: Blood Vengeance (2011)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- When the film began, Harada originally wanted every Tekken character to make an appearance, but the screentime they would need meant the movie would have lacked a coherent narrative, so fewer characters were used.
SPOILER
The new character Shin was written to die early in the movie on purpose, to show the dangers of the Gene, which could only be used by Jin and Kazuya.- Composer Hitoshi Sakimoto was asked for Hollywood-like orchestral music because the staff felt Tekken was more like a live-action film than an anime, and despite the heavy violence the director wanted a lighter tone to suit Xiaoyu and Alisa's friendship.
- A 3D version of the movie was released on the Nintendo 3DS through Tekken 3D: Prime Edition, making it the first film ever released for the 3DS.
- Digital Frontier gained experience handling visuals on this film, which led to easier development on its later Resident Evil: Damnation.
- The final sight of a bruised and wrecked Alisa summoning her last strength was influenced by the films Terminator 2 and Aliens.
- Director Yōichi Mōri asked Takayuki Takeya, known for designing Devilman and Kamen Rider, to redesign the Devils with a more sinister yet beautiful look, so they would differ from the game and attract more viewers.
