Plot summary

Ikuro Hashizawa, seventeen, is a captive of Doress, a Japanese organization that gathers psychics and builds biological weapons. A parasitic worm called Baoh has been buried in his brain, and Sumire, a nine-year-old with psychic abilities, is held there too. She helps him escape. Dr. Kasuminome, the head scientist behind the Baoh parasite, sends assassins and monsters to kill Ikuro and take the girl back, desperate to stop the parasite inside him. When Ikuro is attacked, the Baoh awakens: armor covers his body, his strength and healing surge, and his hands can secrete corrosive enzymes. Blades come out of his arms, and his hair turns into burning needles.
