Plot summary
Suzuran All-Boys High School is the most violent school in the country, and its students have never been unified. They band into factions that battle for influence. Genji Takiya transfers in and declares that he will conquer Suzuran, an ambition his father, the yakuza boss Takiya Hideo, failed to achieve in his youth; Genji asks to be acknowledged as his successor if he succeeds. Yakuza come to the school hunting third-year Serizawa Tamao and mistake Genji for their target, and Genji beats them. At a nightclub he meets the singer Aizawa Ruka. He challenges Serizawa, but Tatsukawa Tokio stops the fight and tells him to defeat the legendary fighter Rindaman first. Katagiri Ken, an ex-graduate yakuza, attacks Genji, loses to a single punch, and advises him to build an army, which Genji starts to do.
