Plot summary
A hot summer passes in a Renaissance palace, where three women, M, H and D, spend the season in a carefree state of limbo. An enigmatic system sees to everything they need, providing food, entertainment and development. One condition applies: none of them is allowed to cross the wall around the place. The three keep in touch through signals passed by touch alone, and they rehearse rituals of dying, which they treat as their way out. From beneath the idyllic picture, a darker side of the new reality shows through, and the women weigh the comfort they are given against the freedom they are refused.
