Plot summary
Three young people have built a new communication technology: a cell phone chip that lets users communicate by thought. They bring it to a large cellular company, hoping for funding to test the product further, and the company turns them down. One of the three then makes the rash decision to test the chip on the inventors themselves. The first test seems to work fine. Soon after, the three discover a glitch in the technology, and its effects seem to give some of the friends powers or abilities.
