Foxhole (2021) on Netflix

Plot summary

Across 36 hours in three wars, five soldiers are confined in a foxhole. In the American Civil War, Morton's Union detachment is joined by Jackson of the 3rd Mississippi Infantry, bleeding and in need of a surgeon. The men argue about helping a comrade the field hospital may turn away, and Jackson warns of Confederate regiments on the way. In the dark of World War I, Morton's detachment works to close a gap in its wire under fire. A German soldier stumbles into the foxhole and is taken prisoner. The men argue about what to do with him, holding him for questioning or shooting him before daylight, and he warns them an attack is coming at the gap. In Iraq, an armored Humvee hits a bomb, leaving Wilson severely injured far from base.
