Plot summary
At five years old, Veronica loses her parents and is taken in by William, who raises her and trains her to handle herself in lethal ways. Twelve years later, she is close to finishing that training, and William injects her with a truth serum and a hallucinogen so she understands what her targets will feel. In town, Jameson, Daniel, Nelson and Shane, all seventeen, meet at a diner; Jameson chooses the women they hunt. Their latest prey is Gwen. Veronica meets Shane's girlfriend Jennifer at the diner and learns the group is close to falling apart. Using herself as bait, Veronica meets Jameson and accepts a date. The boys drive her to the woods for truth or dare.
