Plot summary
Joe Foster is a horror movie buff, and the haunted maze he visits with his girlfriend Lindsey does not frighten him. At the maze a stranger startles them and leaves Joe a calling card for Fear, Inc., a service that stages a customer's worst fears. The next morning his friends Ben and Ashleigh come to the house for a Halloween party, and Joe shows them the card. Ben says a person he knew was seriously hurt through the company and urges Joe to stay away. After the party Joe calls Fear, Inc. anyway and learns the service has sold out. His neighbor Bill then tells him he saw an intruder in Joe's home. Joe pays no attention, and a seemingly crazy person attacks him; the police arrive and Lindsey and the others say they saw nobody in the house.
