Plot summary
Rod and Nathalie, survivors of an earlier bird attack, put money behind Sunset Dreams, the next film from their friend Bill, an independent filmmaker. Bill asks Gloria, a waitress who wants to act, to try out for the lead, and she wins the part. News bulletins describe birds dying in numbers and rain falling as blood. Dr. Jones tells the group that prehistoric birds once attacked early humans and that many of them lie trapped in the tar pit beside the museum they visit with Tony, the boy Rod and Nathalie adopted. The group also finds Nathalie's mother at a resort.
