Plot summary
Alex is dismissed from her job and returns home to discover another woman with her husband. After she punches a man during a fight at a store, a judge sends her to twelve months of anger management therapy. The group includes Stella, who drove her car into her husband's store amid a divorce, and Nikki, who shredded her husband's clothes because he left them in the dryer. Stella runs ABC Pest and offers Alex work as a tax accountant. Robert Hutt, an IRS tax auditor, makes a pass at Alex and gets hot coffee thrown at him; he begins examining her tax records. At the bar, Kim from the class says her husband Rick beats her and has threatened to kill her if she goes.
