Plot summary
Tia and Tony Malone live in an orphanage, where their unusual abilities set them apart: Tony can move objects with his harmonica, and Tia can speak to her brother in her mind, commune with animals and see things before they happen. When Tia warns attorney Lucas Deranian about an accident, he reports the children to his employer, millionaire Aristotle Bolt, who is fascinated by the paranormal. Deranian arrives at the orphanage claiming to be their uncle and brings them to Bolt's mansion. The children slip away and hide in a motor home belonging to Jason O'Day, a widower traveling the country. Tia's star case holds a map, and Jason agrees to follow it toward Witch Mountain, with Bolt's men in pursuit.
