Plot summary
A group of students set out to create a wireless network of collective consciousness that runs through a quantum computer. Their experiments show that motor skills can move from one mind to another, and they treat the discovery as a step toward a new intellectual freedom, so they distribute the technology rather than keep it to themselves. Dark forces take an interest in the same work, with plans to turn it into a means of mass control.
