Plot summary
Robert Grant manages the five-star Majestic Hotel and is raising two sons, Brian and Kyle, who test the patience of the guests with their pranks. Robert has promised the boys a vacation, but Elena Dubrow, who owns the hotel, cancels it again for the Crystal Ball, where an inspector from Le Monde Traveller might grant the Majestic a sixth star. Into this arrives a guest calling himself Lord Rutledge, whom Mrs. Dubrow takes for the expected critic. Rutledge has trained an orangutan, Dunston, to help him steal jewels, and Dunston wants out of that life. When the orangutan slips away from his owner, Kyle finds him.
