Plot summary
Kate handles marketing and public relations at Revolution Brewing, a craft brewery in Chicago, and Luke works in production there. They share a goofy sense of humor and spend their shifts drinking beer and flirting. Both are already attached: Kate is with Chris, an introvert, and Luke is with Jill, a practical woman who wants to get married. Jill wants to know whether Luke is ready to talk about marriage. Kate is setting up the brewery's anniversary party. One evening she and Luke go out for drinks with their co-workers, and Jill and Chris join them at the bar. At the brewery, Chris suggests that Luke and Jill come with him and Kate to his family's cottage.
