Drained (2006) on Netflix

Plot summary

Lourenço's second-hand shop in São Paulo draws people who need cash and sell him their possessions. He takes pleasure in the advantage he holds over customers who have nowhere else to turn, and he files them by a trait or an object: the bride, the gramophone man, the addict. In his eyes the world is a catalogue in which people, like used goods, can be bought at a low price. A foul smell from the drain in his office restroom troubles him. When a waitress he meets draws his attention, her looks become one more object he desires to own.
