Plot summary
Don Verdean works as a biblical archaeologist, hunting items that he believes prove the stories of the Bible. A letter from the Israeli Antiquities Authority said he had no legal authority to dig in Israel. Carol Jensen, his assistant, travels with him. He shows relics such as iron shears he says cut Samson's hair. Tony Lazarus, a pastor losing parishioners to a neighboring church run by a former Satanist, asks Verdean for relics to bring people back. Verdean offers a salt statue of Lot's wife and asks Boaz in Israel to ship it.
