Plot summary
Elizabeth hosts a morning television show. Her interview with Jimmy, a former football player, goes badly, and her boss hires him as her co-host. Tara works in a coffee shop, admires Dr. Mike, a vet, and meets Garrett, who runs an animal care center. Grace and Kurt have adopted a daughter, Amelia, who does not seem at ease in her new home. Dax leads the band Frunk and must look after his sister Ruth's dog, which his building forbids. Walter, a widower, loses his dog when she runs off, and Tyler offers to help.
