Philip Boyd

Philip Boyd is an American actor who grew up in Conyers, Georgia. His first taste of show business came from In The Heat of the Night, which filmed near his hometown. After graduating from Rockdale County High School in 1993, he moved to Los Angeles in 1995 and landed his first professional acting job in the pilot Raising Caines. He went on to appear in several TV shows and worked with actors such as Christina Ricci and Holly Hunter. His film work includes 29 Reasons To Run, which shared a Best Ensemble Cast award at the Bare Bones Film Festival in 2006, and Clones Gold Wild, which brought him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 2009 Action on Film Festival. He later guest starred on Mixology, appeared in The Wrong Side of Right, and had a recurring role on Tyler Perry's The Haves and The Have Nots. He also finished filming Jesse and Naomi.
