Plot summary
Tom Walker spent twenty years in a psychiatric hospital before he was released to the mansion he inherited from his father, a senator. A court order keeps him inside the house for thirty days, and he reports by video phone each day. His parole officer, Brody, brings up the violent crime that involved him and his brother Alex. Tom sees his dead father, hears noises in the rooms, and gets calls from an unknown voice that sounds garbled. Lynn, a market worker, delivers his groceries.
