Plot summary
Irma Eckman boards the private jet of the oil tycoon Henry Keller in the guise of a stewardess, and the cigar she has prepared for him kills him. She leaves the aircraft by parachute before it comes apart, and Penelope arrives by speedboat to collect her. Sir John Bledlow, a director of Phoenecian Oil, believes that this death and that of David Wyngarde were not accidents, and he asks Wyngarde's friend Hugh "Bulldog" Drummond to investigate.
