Plot summary
Fu Manchu has been thought dead for twenty years, but he blames Sir John Petrie for his family's deaths in the Boxer Rebellion and has sworn revenge on Sir John and his household. In London, Princess Ling Moy, an exotic dancer, visits the house of her agent, Morloff, to meet the father she has never seen. Morloff is one of Fu Manchu's men. Ah Kee, a Chinese detective who works with Scotland Yard, tells Sir Basil Courtney that he has just seen Fu Manchu alive. Sir Basil realizes Fu Manchu intends to murder Sir John, but the telephone wires to the house have been cut, so he and Ah Kee head for Sir John's home, next door to Morloff's.
