Sleight (2016) on Netflix

Plot summary

The levitation and metal tricks that Bo Wolfe performs on Los Angeles sidewalks come from an electromagnet he built into his arm. He first assembled it for a high school science project, and the engineering scholarship it earns him goes unused because he stays home to raise his younger sister Tina after their mother dies. By night he sells cocaine for Angelo, a supplier who has treated him fairly and hands him extra money when he mentions a date. When a rival dealer starts undercutting them, Angelo has Bo hunt the newcomer down, and Bo picks a dealer's pocket at a club to learn the name Maurice. Between jobs, Bo is getting to know Holly, who comes to dinner with Tina and their neighbor Georgi.
