Plot summary
Deborah Martin is a photographer who moves her husband Jim and their son Ian from Seattle to Los Angeles after a house with glass pane windows catches her eye. As the family settles in, she tries to resume her photography career while looking after Ian, since Jim usually works late. The mirrors and windows of the house give her strange experiences. Her chatty neighbor tells her that a famous artist and his family lived there until they mysteriously disappeared. Deborah's mother visits and says that feng shui regards window panes as a way of trapping evil spirits so they cannot harm anyone.
