Plot summary
Rose and her mother Alma drive to a marina for Alma's birthday trip, where they meet Derek, Alma's new boyfriend, and the three of them set out to sail to Bermuda. Alma and Derek spend the outing as a couple, while Derek's attempts to bond with Rose meet with limited success. A few days into the crossing, criminals attack and board the boat. Rose hides as the armed men move through the vessel.
