Plot summary
Fran Hudson is a news reporter, and Mark Ludman is her cameraman. The pair travel to the South American jungle, where drug cartels are fighting a cult-like army commanded by Colonel Brian Horne, a Vietnam War veteran and a former associate of Jim Jones. A surviving leader of Jonestown is part of the story they are chasing, and the missing son of a television executive is connected to the same drug war. Jungle installations in the region are attacked by an army of natives and by a skilled white assassin. Fran and Mark are caught in the middle of the conflict as they work.
