Plot summary
At Miller High School, Paige Evans spends her time on art and hopes for a place in a CalArts summer program. The application asks her to describe her happiest moment, and she cannot settle on one. For years she has had a crush on Gabby Campos, a popular classmate. Meanwhile an anonymous artist called KingPun covers the school in graffiti built on puns, and because Paige cares about art, students and the administration treat her as the likely culprit. Facing suspension, she accepts a spot on the track team and sets out to identify the real KingPun. She is placed in the 4x100 relay with Gabby and Gabby's sister AJ, who is told to train her. A house party that Paige believes KingPun will attend gives her a reason to ask AJ for help with the search.
