Crocodylus (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

Spring break comes to Peaceful Creek, a small town in mid-Florida, and the local station NDMD 11 covers the events ahead. News reaches the newsroom that a farmer, Jack Straw, has dug up a prehistoric skull, and the station answers the find quickly. Sammy, a news commentator, calls her boyfriend Mathew Debrie, a recent paleontology graduate, who arrives at the dig and polishes the dirt from the skull. The skull comes from a monstrous Crocodylus, a Nile crocodile that was believed to live only in the African continent. Mathew telephones Dr. David Williams, a friend from his Harvard days, and the doctor takes a flight from New York.
