Criminal Ways (2003) on Netflix

Plot summary

Marcus is a crook with a crew of odd characters, and he hires Danny, an entertainer with no talent, to turn the group into a children's act, hoping they will become the biggest kids' group around. Danny begins training them as The Wannabes, the act they will perform under. The Wannabes are also a disguise: Marcus and his crew mean to take a diamond necklace from Aurora Van Dyke, a very rich woman who has booked the best children's entertainers in town for a party for her grandchild. The group prepares its routine for the show while Danny keeps coaching them.
