Plot summary
At The Last Exit, a rural bar, the evening is ordinary: Les, the owner, minds the bar while Rudy, a conspiracy theorist, talks, and Travis, a cowboy, is refused by Rylee, the local DJ when he asks her out. Gunshots sound outside. Gail, Mac, Will, Lo and Frenzy then push their way in and seize the place, herding Shiloh and the patrons by the pool table. A second group outside, its faces covered with flesh masks, barricades the building and demands that one of the addicts be given up, calling that person a monster. Withdrawal sets in, hardest on Will, while Mac checks the bar for another way in.
