Plot summary
Sadie Glass is promoting her novel in Italy while traveling with her boyfriend, Thierry. The book draws on her chaotic relationship with Alex. At an event, Alex appears and asks her to spend the weekend with him at his villa rather than going on to Paris to meet Thierry's family. Unhappy in her current relationship, she agrees to meet him first at a club, where Francesca performs an erotic dance; Sadie will come to the villa only if Francesca comes too. There, while Alex gets ready for a party, Sadie and Francesca drink, use drugs and begin a sexual relationship.
