Plot summary
Shawn ends his relationship with Jesse at the town's Christmas light display, telling her their life plans do not match, and says he will miss the family Christmas because of a job interview in New York. His mother Liz encourages Jesse to come to the Campbell house for the holiday anyway. The next day Jesse meets David, Shawn's cousin, and the two get along. The family talks about the Wishing Tree, a town tradition: a giant Christmas tree hidden in the wilderness is decorated, and if you find it and keep its location secret, your wish is granted.
