Plot summary
Evergreen, Vermont, is all about Christmas, and mayor Michelle Lansing plans a small wedding before the holiday to Thomas Turner, whose family has lived in town for generations. The new Christmas museum opens on Christmas Eve, and with Michelle busy with wedding details, Thomas's sister Hannah Turner finishes the launch. Hannah's childhood friend Elliot Lee now runs the Turner family's Tinker Shop and wants to expand it, a plan that sits badly with Hannah as she tries to find something of her own. Michelle's sister Sonya and widowed father Gordon are coming for the wedding, though Sonya is not one for Christmas and Gordon is reluctant for a reason Michelle does not know. Thomas is away at a logging camp in Maine, and the weather may keep him from reaching Evergreen in time.
