Plot summary
Cate Dove is a thief, and a con that goes wrong sends her back to her hometown in Connecticut. There she is stuck looking after her niece Annie and her nephew Parker. The children's parents, Savannah Cooper and Brian Cooper, are away and will not be home for Christmas yet. Cate fills her days with plans to settle accounts with Clive Henry, her former partner in crime.
