Plot summary
Claire works as a venture capitalist in New York City. She leaves the city for the holidays and stays as a guest at the Fortenbury Bookstore in a small Vermont town. The town has called off its Christmas celebrations since a flood, and the store itself needs a great deal of work. Claire sets out to bring the shop back to life, but Andrew, who owns it, turns down the changes she proposes.
