Plot summary
The world of competitive poultry breeding is the subject here, following three exhibitors through a year on the show circuit. Brian Caraker performs in musical theater in Branson, Missouri, and his parents, Betty and Bob, appear alongside him. Brian Knox builds high performance race engines in New Hampshire, where John and Rodalyn Knox are seen with him. Shari McCollough keeps a home in Crawfordsville, Indiana, with her husband Larry and daughter Kinsey. Along with a field of other breeders, they bring their birds to the Ohio National Poultry Show in Columbus, Ohio, a competition likened to the Westminster dog show, and to the Dixie Classic in Tennessee.
