Plot summary
Malachy is a straight-A student who works at the Titanic Leisureplex, the sports training center Dave owns and runs. Luke, his best friend, is a drug dealer who lives with a father addicted to drugs. Michelle has just arrived from London to stay with her father, Dave. She is beautiful and charismatic, and the two boys are entranced by her. Luke and Malachy try to win her attention by beating each other at sex, drugs, vandalism, shoplifting and fighting. Their weekend of drinking, shoplifting and car theft gathers pace until it is past the point where any of them can stop it.
